The OFT hason 5 Jan 2010accepted hold separate undertakings givenbyCartonplastgroup Holding S.Aand Cartonplast UK Ltdunder section 71 of the Enterprise Act 2002.

The undertakings are without prejudice to OFT's ongoing investigation into thecompleted acquisition by Cartonplastgroup Holding S.A. (Indirectly via its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Cartonplast Trading GMBH and Cartonplast UK Ltd) of certain assets of the Demes business unit of DS Smith Plc.

The text of these undertakings will be placed on the Office of Fair Trading's website atwww.oft.gov.ukas soon as is reasonably practicable.
