A Commitment to Sustainable Forestry

Each year, DS Smith sustainably harvests 60-70,000 tons of timber from our 18,000 acres of commercial timberland in southeast Georgia.

As part of our reforestation efforts, we plant three seedlings for every tree harvested, which turns out to be a half-million seedlings annually.

This is done to support biodiversity, increase carbon absorption and enable the transition to a circular economy with renewable, fiber-based solutions.
